Workshop description

There are two options for this intimate ring making workshop: A) You'll be guided through the basics of silversmithing, which includes sawing, forming, soldering, and polishing. You can personalise your ring with a date and/or word (perhaps a name, initial, or meaningful phrase), and add textures or simple design elements. At the end of the workshop, you'll each go home with a beautiful and unique ring alongside new memories creating something meaningful together! B) You'll carve your rings out of wax, which will then be cast and finished for you after the workshop, to be picked up in 2-3 weeks time. Ideal if you are after rings that are more intricately designed, signet style, or just a little unusual. For this option, you can have your rings cast in gold for an extra fee. You will also be provided with refreshments and digital photos as a souvenir of the day. Workshop fee includes all tools and recycled silver. Casting in gold will incur an extra fee (based on weight of finished ring). Please follow all health and safety guidelines and instructions and arrive with hair tied up, closed shoes, and no loose/baggy sleeves. After all, we'll be playing with fire!
